2007 Mitsubishi Colt noise on the head of engine

I have my l200 2007 2.5did 60000miles the problem is caming about 1mth ago and is getting worst day after day head of the engine knocking I have been told the tapers needs to be adjust but to me sound like something insaid lose ,or can just because of the valve to have missfire
It is someone who got haynes manual for l200 2006up or knows which play has to be under taper and valve on cold engine? I have been looking all over but no Haynes for this car.thx
