Mitsubishi ASX oil warning level light stays on after a full oil change

oil light came on ,dipped the leval read handbook said change oil and filter did that oil light still on check oil levl ok on dip stick all o.k problem still persists can any body help.

Faulty oil level sensor is usually the cause
