The AS&G system dashboard visual illuminated advisor should be green and steady but its orange and flashing. It has done this on occasions in the past but has always cleared itself back to normal. What can cause this ?
The only thing I have done recently is moved the drivers seat backwards and forwards getting in and out which makes me wonder are there plugs relating to circuits under the seat that could cause this problem.

A low car battery condition can cause stop / go to be inoperative and then can clear when vehicle driven for a period where the alternator wil boost battery up a bit . Might be worthwhile LOAD testing , charging or replacing if needed .

Thank you very much for your advice.
I shall check out the battery today and top up with a charge. I don’t use the vehicle every day and two things it’s -2 outside and it’s 6 years old.
So I agree you have surfaced a good point.
