2010 Mitsubishi ASX steering wheel noise

When revolving the steering wheel any direction makes a tick tick tick noise like ratchet in a socket set should I be worried been told not dangerous by a garage but they don't know what cause is

Possibly due to the indicators self cancelling function?

Hard to tell from post but if the noise is coming from the wheels area and not the column , it's most likely to be a driveshaft c/v joint worn and clicking .
