2003 Mercedes Benz Viano wont start

i have mercedes vanio on a morning if i drive a short distance say half a mile and turn it off go in a shop get paper then car wont start every thing light up on dash but nothing its just dead it wont ture over and i have to wait 10 mins some times 1 hour befor it starts again please can you help

Possibly faulty starter motor.

Agree with " paulieone " seems like starter fault ,worth checking all connections /wiring at motor or get it tested .
