Ignition issues

2008 Mercedes Benz Viano Vito
Car: Mercedes Benz Viano
Year: 2008
Variant: Vito
Intermittent problem when starting my Vito.
The engine clicks (as if the battery is flat)
Had the battery checked, its fine. Changed the starter motor.
It can go days starting 1st turn of the key and then it can take 5 or 6 times to start.
Thanks in advance for any help sorting this.

That is one of those jobs with intermittent faults that you have to get the vehicle showing the problem and then tracing through the circuit when it's there. Hard to advise other than checking all wiring at starter and earths especially any from engine / trans to body . Could also try replacing starter relay which is usually a simple , inexpensive option to try .
