Car runs very well then for no reason pulls back, reves up and down some times cuts out, spent £2000 at Mercedes Nottingham on pump, leads, plugs, distributor cap,fuel filter, ingintion cable, seal ring and still plays up, please help

I can now confirm after spending £4000 that the problam was water getting into the wiring lume under the bulkhead, some one had fitted an alarm very badly long befor we bought the car.
