2002 Mercedes Benz S Class it doesn't want to change gear
Year: 2002
Variant: 320 cdi auto
It won't change gear either auto or tiptronic . I'm hoping its electrical . Any advice please

Hi I would start with checking the auto transmission oil level.

Also if the engine management light is on you will need to get it scanned for faults. But check the auto transmission oil first.

You can get this fault with a low battery or alternator not charging correctly . Worth checking voltage with a meter as not enough power for the ECU control stops your auto trans shifting to any gear but the 1st gear .
