if i unplug sencors from under the bonnet surly the abs light should go out with engine not running

Get it scanned to see what is causing light to come on ?

if you unplug the sensors the light will come on as the abs module detects an open circuit therefor a fault in the system,check all your abs sensors and pick ups for damage,you will need to get your fault codes checked.recommend you do it asap
