2000 Mercedes Benz CLK new battery but will not start

Car battery went dead during the recent cold spell so I had it replaced but although the engine sounds like it wants to turn, the car will not start.Please help.

could be a number of things on the car with the battery going flat on you was the car running fine before the cold spell if it was then keep trying to get the car started via some jump leads but dont crank the car over for to long as you dont want to burn out the starter motor or any wiring

Get your alternator checked,if the car was running before the cold spell and the alternator wasn't charging up the battery then, you have no chance of getting it to start.
