Knocking sound in the engine

There is a knocking/ ticking noise coming from the engine. when i accelerate the tapping gets faster ,eventually dissapearing as the speed increases

Does it come back as you slow down, Try an engine flush (forte) and then a refill with the correct grade oil as it might just be your tappets sticking.
