1998 Mercedes Benz CLK engine problems
Year: 1998
Variant: 230 kompresser auto
I have this problem ,when I start her up she goes stupid and stops .I have had mechanic whom I trust put his span on reader on and came back with 3 probs po100 po110 po170 which are maff sensor probs . I gat another maff ,but when fitted she got worse .I put the old one back on . We cancelled the probs but when put on again the same came up . Had a smoke test on the air system and that was okay .so doe's any one have any ideas please . I don't want to get rid as she is a lovely car .

Was it a new / correct MAF as it sounds faulty from what you say ? Could also check wiring / plug to MAF /
