2006 Mazda Premacy cant reprogram the transponder chipped key

I bought the Car from SBT Japan and it arrived last month.
Two week later a relatively heavy metal fell on my one and only key destroying the chip in it. I have been to three lock-smiths but they all face one challenge. Whenever, they start there attempt to program, their gadget which they pin to my car reaches a certain point which gives them a (connection error) message. At first I thought it was the gadget but the same error on all different gadgets has worried me. The car has been grounded for over three weeks now I really need some help.
