Mazda 6 folding doormirrors sticking closed

Bought the car today 13 02 2026 (02/13/26. Switched off and the driver's side folding door mirrors stuck about 30 degrees from folded position. Tried to open it manually but it comes up against a solid stop. Looked in owners manual, performed all the instructions. It will travel back to the fully folded position but will stick against the stop at approximately 30 degrees. Having bought the car today I am now stuck with a car I cannot use.
