does it crank over when you turn the key ? if not then it might just be a poor connection on the starter motor

no does nothing, engine not turning over just silence, sometimes it will fire up straight away perfect sometimes it will not fire at all others ul turn the key fully silence for around 4-5sec then will turn over and fire up straight away

check the small trigger wire on the starter you may need to pull it off and clean it or even cut it off and renew the connection
