Clutch Pedal
2004 Land Rover Freelander 2.0 HSE

My clutch pedal has suddenly gone about 50 mm higher than the brake pedal. It still drives fine but the high of the pedal is definitely not right. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

this is common problem with these cars,it does`nt affect clutch in any way, just means there is more free play at top of pedal, you need a new clutch master cylinder,if it has snap connection then you fit new one and should`nt normally require bleeding

Very good point, I had forgotten that. It is a head under the dash job but as Sheddist said try just putting the circlip back from under the dash first.
