Land Rover Freelander clutch pedal sometimes stays down

It sometimes stays down and I have to hook my toes under the pedal and yank it back up.

Hard to say for certain , could be clutch master cyl ., slave cyl. , or internal clutch assembly at fault . Or a combination of them all .
