Car will not start.

2002 Land Rover Freelander 1.8 GLS Petrol
Car: Land Rover Freelander
Year: 2002
Variant: 1.8 GLS Petrol
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
The car refused to pick up during acceleration on normal driving. Then the engine failed. On starting again the car has completely refused to start, all the lights on the dash board are coming on and as usual they are going off when you attempt to ignition, it sounds like the car has a fuel cut off switched on. Please help

Is there a fuel cut off switch under the bonnet ,it may req, reset just by pressing it.if not then you will have to check if your actually getting fuel up first.

hi have you checked your timming belt to make sure it has not slipped or
worst case snapped, the k series engines suffer with failing coil packs, cam sensors, and air flow meters
