10 day old stonic. Lower gears became more and more difficult to select until I couldn't! Managed eventually to get into first and limped to garage where they recalibrated the hydraulic gear system. It sorted out the problem, but after another week I feel its starting again. one minute fine next really stiff. So unhappy!

Don't accept it if the 10 day old car has a problem they have tried to fix unsuccessfully and is recurring .

I have exactly the same problem ! Bought Stonic September 2021, fine for 6 months but stuck in lower gears twice recently and called out RAC. Kis dealership cannot find any fault but clearly there is one as it happened again today. Genuinely scares me to drive it now - don't know what to do next.
