2009 Kia ProCeed jerky missfire, engine cuts out.

When the engine is warm and doing around 2000 - 2500 rpm in 2 or 3rd gear the engine "misses". No backfire it just seems that the engine stops for a brief second causing terrible kangarooing type motion. At a junction the revs can drop and then the engine will cut out altogether. Starts OK again but as soon as you dab the accelerator it can cut out again. My gagrage have had it in twice now but the problem still persists. Any advice? Thanks

crankshaft sensor or airflow meter get it scanned to confirm ps crank sensor doesent show as a faulty via scan tools etc
