2005 Kia Magentis engine managment light on

engine managment light on.(its got a picture of an engine)?with check under it.but check what?apart from that the car is running well.the car was second hand and i havnt got a manuel for it yet.

Have it scanned, once the light is on there has got to be a code. I guess it could be due to a clocked cat converter or oxygen sensor they often die after 5-7 years.
