2003 Kia Carnival 10a meter fuse blows

Car: Kia Carnival
Year: 2003
Variant: 2.5 ltr ls 7 seater
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
hope someone can help.
The 10a meter fuse keeps blowin once the engine is warm when we move through reverse either from drive to par or frm park to drive.
Dealer says no problems with any ofthe control modules. And it does not do it all the time.
I've checked the inhibitor switch. removed the dash to see if anything was shorting. Checked the tail lights to make sure they are not shorting.
When the fuse blows you can still select reverse and move but not any other gear. if you move out and come back to reverse sometimes it will engague other times it wont.
Once the fuse blows and you turn the engin off you cannot restart untill you replace the fuse. Also airbag light stays on as it needs to be reset.
You can start in Neutral and everythingelse works fine.

Any suggestions??? Before I really start to spend money or dismantle the car???

im not to sure about this one but have you looked in the manual to see if its a 10a fuse that should be used as it might be that you want a bigger fuse putting in the other thing is take note of what it is that you do when the fuse blows as that can help the dealers out and what ever switches are in that area could be shorting out ie making the fuse blow

I would be looking at loading of circuits, ie bad earths and live connections, i have had many wiring problems with these cars and somtimes a silly quick fix
