2003 Kia Carens temp gauge on dash not working

temp gauge on dash not working. took it back to garage I bought it from and they changed the temp gauge thing in engine but still not working. Could it be something simple like a fuse? Any help appreciated.

More likely to be either the guage itself or the cable between it and the sender you had replaced.
