2001 Jeep Cherokee it gives out a bang when the clutch is released

I bought this vehicle with a worn out clutch and pedal really down.I have replaced the clutch and a new fly wheel but am getting a loud noise everytime the clutch is released.Even if the car is in neutral as soon as you release the clutch it makes a bang;So the problem is each time you take your foot off the clutch you get this noise

suspect gearbox input shaft bearing worn or other inside gearbox...
