2017 Infiniti Q30 my q30 rocks and rolls.

Has it just started to do this ? They are known for soft suspension , poor ride and handling

Thank you for your reply. Obviously I didn't notice the problem this severe when I first bought the car but it is difficult to know when it got worse when you drive the car all the time. I half expected to see a leaking shock absorber but that is not the case. Doing the bounce test on the vehicle corners I note the offside front takes about four bounces to settle. Can shock absorbers fail without obvious leaks? It would be quite an expensive experiment if new shockers don't improve things.

As you say , these kind of " faults " do climb up on you unnoticed when driving all the time If one side is weaker than the other , might be your cause . Not sure whether that vehicle has gas filled shocks or not .

Thank you again. What is your implication? a leakage of fluid is obvious but can gas escape from a shocker? When I look at replacements on line they do appear to be gas filled.
