Indicator and hazards not working

2004 Hyundai Terracan
Car: Hyundai Terracan
Year: 2004
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Both my indicator & hazards are not working. I've checked the fuses and they seem okay. I've also checked when I put the central locking on that the indicators flash and they do.

The car has just had the engine dropped to put a new cylinder head on and various other bits as the timimg belt broke. It wasn't until being 50miles plus from the garage we realised nothing was working - I know really observant or what!! I really don't want to take it back to the garage as it is a 300mile round trip.

Yes I live in the middle of no where and the nearest Hyundai dealership is 150 miles away.

I would be so grateful if someone could give me an idea of where to look to see if I could fix it myself and save me a great deal of hassle.

Many thanks
