radiator coolant leak and heating system not working. The windows and windscreen remains misty and does not clear up.

You need to carry out a coolant system pressure test which should reveal any external leaks and a block test which should show internal leaks from possibly cylinder head / gasket . The misting may be caused by heater core / matrix leaking .
