Thanks for the reply,the only unit I can see is joining some yellow control bits,it doesn’t look like any parts shown on spare part web sites and it’s on side of heater box.cheers ron

Thanks for that info, I’ve seen that vid and that part looks like the web sites priced at £15 to £50 but I can’t see that shape under there.On phoning a dealer they want £90 for the part.So next week I’m of to the dealer to see a picture and hopefully find out where it is in the car.Its a shame that Haynes doesn’t do books on this car.All the best Ron

The workshop manuals seem to be all downloads nowadays and quite a few to choose from . The parts dept should be able to identify correct part from the Vin number and show you an exploded picture of the heater system and location of ballast resistor .

Success,it’s removed ,drivers side high up near bulk
head.Looking at it the soldered link had detached so it had got very hot,so new one on order with local dealer.I think going cheap on web sites to risky.

Thank you for update , I agree with you buying OEM , a lot of spurious parts about from abroad that are often not up to standard and false economy in the long run .
