Stone under heat shield

hello, first timer here, got a problem with my partners car after taking it for it's 62000 mile service they pointed out a rattling noise from under the heat shield caused by a stone stuck. Just wondering if someone would be able to give advice on get this stone out and if it can be done without going to dealers.
Any info would be a great help..

most heat shields are quite easily removed without any complex tools, any garage should be able to help you

yes as mrfixit has said this can be done via the garage or could even be done by your self if you now where the stone / object is
