can anyone please tell me if they have noticed that the drivers seatbelt is alot shorter than the passenger side one? or is this a fault with the belt itself? someone told me that its purposely like this but i can't see the sense in that as every car ive ever had the belts have been equal, but this belt seems very restricting when the seat is forward

Never came across this before and cant figure out why it would be shorter . Like you thought they would both be the same length .The belt/ strap is not twisted in side ?
