Check engine breather / hose o.k . Could be pistons / rings or valve stem oil seals

the car has done 105444, she runs fine, i am getting no sign of the head gone in the oil, there is no maonaise, there is not discolour in the exspansion tank, so while the symptoms look like the head, im not sure, could a dodgy crankbreather cause these kind of problems. i am going to have a diagnostic done and see if that tells me anything. further sugestions would be appriceated.

thanks

Could also do a compression test on all cylinders.

Depends also on colour of smoke .

the colour of the smoke is white, i had a diagnostic done today and it showed a lambda fault, the garage guy said as did you guys that it could be the oil seals, which i agree it could be. but before i put money in their pocket for a job that is not necessary i want to be sure. i was suspecting the egr valve but i will test that first. would it be a fair statement to say it could be the cat as well. when she gets warmed up there is a lot less smoke, only when i accelerate away, and them there is not a huge amount. but clearly there is something she is not happy with.

thanks for your input guys
