2005 Ford Mondeo rattling noise from rear of car

Car: Ford Mondeo
Year: 2005
Variant: 2.o tdci
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
hi guys ive a problem with the back of my mondeo when i hit a bump or suncken man hole its very noisy at the rear of the car and kicks to the left i replaced the shocks but the problem is still there it was brought to the main ford dealer and they said it wasnt the subframe bushes which is a common fault with the mondeos so i took it to another mechanic and he said that the trailing arms need to be replaced that why the car might be kicking to the left as the passenger side trailing arm is worn more than the driver side. im looking for a diagram of the trailing arm set up and would apreciate if anyone could help.i dont think it is a big job to replace them so might do it myself.

cheers

You should get a Haynes workshop manual which will show you illustrations and procedure for that and any other work you intend to do on car . If you dont want to buy one , local libraries usually have a selection of manuals for the most popular cars
