I am also suffering this issue.

It has happened twice now and each time it came back - the further symptoms were

- no control from the steering wheel controls.
- no sound
- no phone BT sound or connection

I had this happen again this morning and the fix was, to switch off the car, remove the key and then turn over the engine again, this caused the stereo to reboot and switch on...

So, an intermittment fault fixed by powerdown...

Does any one have any ideas on a permenent fix or where the issue could lie?
