Noisey on tickover

on tickover sounds really loud compared to other tdci,s but if i put revs up to 1000 it sounds ok it drives fine apart from this its done 100000 miles is it something i need to worry about thanks

depends what type of noise it is.is it knocking,banging,chugging,vibrating noise etc?is it like a "brrrrrrr" noise

common fault on that engine is with the auxillary belt tensioner,if you start the engine and look underneath the car,where the aux belt runs between crank pulley and a/c compressor pulley the belt will flap about if the tensioner is knackered,if so then get the auxbelt tensioner and the belt replaced

the cds slot into the cd load slot on the front of your radio push the cd button and load will show on the display just put the first cd in push cd again and load the second and so on till you have loaded all six
