2002 Ford Mondeo wont drive when in reverse

car drives fine in all foward gear but when i put the auto box in reverse there is no drive any thoughts?

sounds like gearbox fault,its worth checking the condition of the auto fluid and make sure it is`nt burnt,chek fluid level is correct
