2001 Ford Mondeo car cuts out without warning even when ticking over

Car: Ford Mondeo
Year: 2001
Variant: 1998cc TDi
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
a few months ago my car came to an abrupt halt. I left it for a few minutes and there was no problem on that remaining journey. this happened and this time more regular and less journey. I got a sensor installed for the crank shaft which was showing up on the computer. even with the new sensor the problem is still there but as soon as its in gear ready to move it cuts out. now will only tick over in neutral for a few seconds without reving the car

you need to get the diagnostic machine on your car and check what is happening with coolant temp sensor and oxygen sensor readings,do any warning lights come on when the car cuts out?
