Key fob

Central locking works fine but the fob is very tempremental some times it will work first press another time it will need 10 presses i have changed the battery but it made no difference, it is the same for locking or unlocking, where is the pickup for the signal as i can walk all round the car but it still won't work, then all of a sudden it will work, can anyone help???

you need to reprogram the remote fob,put key in ignition switch from position 0 to position 2 eight times in quick succession then on eight time you will hear a beep,press any button on the remote and the central door locking will operate as well as beeping noise to confirm succesful programming of remote,if problem still persists then could be alarm module or remote fault
