car starts .....wont rev...and is throughing out lot and lots of black smoke ...anyboby got any clues

serviced and bled by another mechanic ....still dont have a clue why its smokey

ok has it got a turbo fitted?

yes and it has been checked as has the egr valve....its really doing my head in

is the cat blocked with oil?????

thats a strange one mate. could be a blocked cat as previously stated

cat is new and rest of system is recently replaced

Have you checked all vacuum pipes to solenoid valves or does it have electric controlled egr valve .sounds like it is permanantly open.are pipes the correct way round. have you tried putting a blanking plate on egr valve

yes to all....egr new...all hoses properly routed
