2005 Ford Mondeo car started after towing but wont rev-up

burn it haha just joking. is it turning over but just not firing up?

yes its just turning over. it sounds as if it is going to start but then just stops dead. tyming was checked by another mechanic he said it was spot on.....

car is now showing fault code p0251 does this help any

what is the code?you could have a faulty fuel pressure sensor which would shut the fuel supply off if not enough fuel pressure or reading incorrect,make sure your fuel system is bled properly then get the pressure checked

i had same fault code on mine. on the side of the pump is the fuel metering sensor, its next to the fuel pressure sensor, from menory its got a brown plug and a plunger unit on it. its about £70 ish. hope u get it sorted

thanks to everyone for there suggestions and answers unfortunatly it turns out that my injection pump is frecked and it has distroyed all my fuel components(common rail & injectors) again thankyou for all input

going to the scrappy today to get secondhand pump what problems will i get when fitting...will i need an auto spark
