2005 Ford Mondeo suspension

Car: Ford Mondeo
Year: 2005
Variant: 2.o tdci
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
hi lads ive a problem with the rear of my 2005 mondeo when it hits a bump like a man hole cover on the road the car seems to jump to the left a bit on the rear passenger side.ive had it in the main ford dealers and they told me that the subframe bushes are ok and the subframe isnt out of line and the antiroll bar bushes are ok aswell.
now that these things are ruled out i was wondering if it could be a worn shock that could be causing the problem as its a bitt rattey aswell.at first i thought it could be the exhaust but that is also ok .anybody have any ideas after all there has been a lot of things ruled out but still there is a problem... please help....

You would have thought main dealers would have checked all s/absorbers and coil springs when examinining car originally and noted any faults ? Still worth a look and possibly second opinion .

hi i brought the car back to the main ford dealers today and they put the car on the machine thats used to test the suspension for the mot test and they told me that the rear shocks need to be replaced. do you know a good place to source them in uk at a good price or would i be better off going back to the main dealers to get them

Hi Biffo, I have the same problem with my 07 Mondeo and was wondering if you got it fixed? I bought mine from the local Ford dealership and have had them look at it. They tell me there is no issue but I have serious doubts about their integrity!!

Many thanks
