1997 Ford Mondeo rear n/s door won't open

The central loking will not open the rear n/s door.I have removed internal door lever cover and cable is attached to the lever and will move.I cannot remove the door panel as we cannot get access to the screws.

A common fault is a break in wiring at door pillar through into door under rubber sheath , worth a look .
