2002 Ford Mondeo the engine warning light

This will be the 3rd the enging warning light has come on, it has been on before and had the coil replaced then it has come on again after about 3 months, coil again replaced and spark plug leads. The warning light has come on again and have put petrol in car on Wednesday which came upto half way, now down to quarter of tank. I am not speeding, keeping it to 30 -35 miles an hour and only do 30 miles aday round trip - what is wrong, should i take it back to the dealership?

when you had the lamp on what was the codes as these will help us help you

It doesnt come up with a code just the light on and stays on all the time.
When i look in the manual you get with the car they call it the engine management light.
