Engine temperture guage, takes a long time to get to its normal temperture, when heater is turned on, guage returns to cold, and no heat comes out of the blower.

Sounds like thermostat knackered (jammed open )wWhich means the engine does not get to correct working temp .

Is this easy to fix, or is it a garaga problem?
