there is fuel in the tank but the car wont start as if the fuel had run out.whenn i managed to get it started it just the engine just dies then wont start again.

the ford mondeo has been fitted with a knock switch, some times in the boot and some times in the pasenger foot well, this shuts the fuel off to the engine, if its not that then try to get a home tune to plug into it some times its an air flow meter or throtle sensor. hope this helps
