2005 Ford Mondeo sounds like a bloody taxi ???? so noisey

as i said it sounds like a taxi someone must know what makes the engine so noisey come on guys its doin my head in ???

update the ECU software. its possible diesel knock. probably needs injectors re-programming. the only other thing that makes them really noisy is the worn dual mass flywheel. more common they are!!!
