1999 Ford Mondeo central locking key problem

i have a ford mondeo 1999 2.0 LX 16V. some days ago remote control key isn't working. i have replace the battery but still isn't working. I have checked the central locking motor thats working fine with the key. and the double locking is indicated by flashing twice. could you please help me out with this problem whether i need to replace the remote or programming needs to be done. if i need to replace from where can i replace. thanks

Have you checked the fuses behind the glove compartment?
