drivers window not working i,ve changed the relay and the switch but if you put a mk1 relay in the window go,s down but not up and if you put a mk2 relay in the window go,s up not down

the wireing works by 2 wires up 1 goes live the other earth, down they are reversed so fit correct relay for car and check wot you get

i have put the same relay on and it do,es not work all the other windows are ok

My car being playing up since cold snap. My window, drivers side, is down and i cnnot get it to go back up. All other windows are fine. Any tips? Have secured window with bags. Really to get this window up so any help, didnt understand the last tip. Is it worth taking it to local garage?
