hi ive got a misfire on acceleration,,ticks over fine but when you put foot on the gas its holding back ..inve changed the air flow metre and still the same any suggestions thanx

plug leads are common,coat them in wd40 then start car if a lead is faulty it will ignite the wd and blow that lead out,replace as a set .a bit animal but works

hi again if theres a blockage in the exhaust will it make the mondeo misfire on acceleration..

had a similar problem eliminated plugs, HTleads. Problem fixed by changing the coil pack.
