Engine starts to lose power

Car: Ford Mondeo
Year: 2008
Variant: 1.8 tdci

Was running good then engine management light came on then no power left it for 5min then restart it ran OK then it done it again

Check / change fuel filter , just a guess . If not that you will need to scan for fault codes .
