2001 Ford Mondeo rear near side door locked shut and central locking not working

Car: Ford Mondeo
Year: 2001
Variant: 2.0 zetec
Categories: Leaks & Noises
Hi any ideas on this? the rear near side door has decided to stay shut and the inside door lever is pushed in and will not return. The central locking has also stopped working - I've tried changing the battery but no luck - and to top it off the red LED on the dash next to the clock has started flashing continuosly - not sure if the spelling is correct. There is also a clicking noise when the key is turned. Any help much appreciated.matb.

sounds like the battery on the car is flat try jump leads or another battery but if the light on the dash flashes with the ignition on then it has an immobilser fault.if you let the light flash with ignition on it should stop after one minute then flash out a 2 digit fault code ie 3 times then two means code 32 then it repeats 32 32

Hi lombard11 just got around to checking the fuses as its been a busy weekend and you were right the central locking fuse had blown. So swapped it for the fog lights fuse to check out the system and hey presto central locking is working and the light on the clock / dash has gone out. Great only problem is I've noticed the following in the car manual it lists a 30amp fuse for the fog lights but in the fuse box and on the fuse box diagram it shows a 20amp fuse. Although the 20amp fog light fuse has not blown which is correct?
